What's different about us
Hungry Birds was founded in 2017 by Henry Adler to show visitors and locals the path to delicious food combined with an entertaining Old Town tour. On our tours you get an impression of the old town center of Freiburg with its convivial restaurants.
We visit owner-run restaurants and eat typical Baden dishes. You will get information about the history of the city and the main sights.
We want to show you what is being eaten in and around Freiburg.
Our idea
Founder Henry Adler repeatedly asked himself the same questions during various stays abroad: what do people here eat and what is special about the way of life? Where are the insider tips? Where are the delicious restaurants and cozy places where locals dine? Our motto is: eat well and meet new people. Where could this succeed better, if not in the tri-border region of Germany, France and Switzerland, or, as we like to say, the Tuscany of Germany!
We combine a city tour with delicious food and drink. Here, the fun is in the foreground and less the entire city history. Our goal is to show you the old town of Freiburg on a culinary tour. On our city tours you will meet new people in a sociable and informal atmosphere.
